📋 1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Face-K's celebrity lookalike matching service. By using the service, you agree to these terms which establish rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the company and users.

By accessing or using Face-K's celebrity lookalike matching service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

🎯 2. Service Description

Face-K is a service that uses artificial intelligence (AI) facial recognition technology to find the Korean celebrity most similar to the photo uploaded by the user.

• 🌟 Similarity comparison with Korean celebrity database
• 📊 Matching results and similarity scores provided
• 🧾 사주팔자 계산, 표정 무드, 닮은꼴 정보를 결합한 엔터테인먼트형 리포트 제공
• 🚫 사진 기반 인종·민족 등 민감 속성 추정 결과는 제공하지 않음
• 🔗 Result sharing feature (optional)

👤 3. User Responsibilities

Users of the service must not engage in the following activities:

• 🚫 Uploading photos of others without permission
• ⚠️ Uploading photos of minors without parental consent
• 💣 Actions that interfere with stable service operation (excessive requests, crawling, etc.)
• 🔓 Actions that threaten or attempt to circumvent service security
• 📢 Spreading false information or creating defamatory content
• 💰 Unauthorized commercial use of the service
• 🤖 Accessing the service through automated means (bots, scripts, etc.)

🖼️ 4. Uploaded Content

You agree to the following regarding images you upload:

• 📸 You warrant that you have legal rights to the uploaded images
• 🗑️ Images are deleted immediately after analysis; temporarily stored only when sharing (up to 7 days)
• 🔒 Uploaded images are not used for AI model training (without explicit consent)
• ⚖️ Inappropriate or illegal content may be deleted without prior notice

©️ 5. Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual property rights for all content and technology within the service belong to the company.

• 🎭 Celebrity images: Collected from public sources, respecting the rights of celebrities and their agencies
• 🧠 AI models and algorithms: Exclusive technical assets of the company
• 🎨 Service design and UI/UX: Protected by copyright law
• 📝 All text, graphics, logos in the service: Owned by the company or third parties

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our service without explicit written permission.

🚫 6. Prohibited Uses

Using the service for the following purposes is prohibited:

• ❌ Harassing or insulting others
• ❌ Promoting discrimination, hatred, or violence
• ❌ Impersonation, identity theft, fraud
• ❌ Privacy invasion or stalking
• ❌ Combining with potentially abusive technologies such as deepfake creation
• ❌ Political or religious propaganda purposes
• ❌ Illegal copying, redistribution, resale

⚠️ 7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Liability:

• 💸 The company is not responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from service use

• 👥 We have no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between users and third parties

🔐 8. Privacy and Data Protection

• 🔒 Uploaded images are transmitted encrypted
• ⏱️ Deleted immediately after analysis (stored up to 7 days when sharing)
• 📊 Only anonymized data is collected for statistical analysis
• 🛡️ Complies with GDPR and Korean Personal Information Protection Act

🔄 9. Modifications to Terms

The company may change these terms when necessary, and changed terms will be notified through in-service announcements or email.

• 📢 Important changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance
• ✅ Continued use of the service after the effective date of changed terms is deemed consent
• ❌ If you do not agree to the changed terms, please stop using the service

⏸️ 10. Service Suspension and Termination

The company may suspend or terminate the service in the following cases:

• 🔧 For system inspection and maintenance
• ⚡ When technical problems occur such as power outages or server failures
• ⚖️ When required by legal regulations or government orders
• 💼 When there are significant business reasons

When terminating the service, we will announce at least 30 days in advance, and user data will be safely deleted.

The interpretation and application of these terms follow the laws of the Republic of Korea, and if disputes arise related to service use, the court having jurisdiction over the company's headquarters will be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
